Jordan Hernandez – Miri Ben-Ari – Hip Hop Medley
This past weekend I had the chance to see the legendary hip hop violinist Miri Ben-Ari. Words cannot describe the talent this girl has and how she has changed the face of music. You’ve probably heard her in the background of your favorite hip hop beats and don’t even know it. Check her out and prepare for your mind to be blown!
Patricia Bryan – This Wild Life – History (Single)
This Wild Life premiered it’s latest single on Tuesday titled “History.” The punk duo masterfully exhibits their skills in string-picking and harmonies with their two perfectly complementary voices. The melodic dance between the rhythm and lead acoustic guitars is impeccable. The iconic rhythm and pace remains loyal to the emotions conveyed in it’s lyrics. Definitely a feel-good song portraying the possibility of turning any set-back into an adventure and opportunity for change. Make sure to order their album titled, “CLOUDED” for more great tunes.
Joelle Hernandez – Mumufresh – We’re Already Royal
This week I’m listening to We’re Already Royal by Maimouna “MumuFresh” Youssef. This song is crazy good! Ever hear Royals by Lorde? This is a remake, well redo really, of the song. MumuFresh changes the lyrics to Lorde’s hit tune and changes the entire message. She sings about royalty that Africans once had and how African-Americans should realize that we come from royalty. Her lyrics let the African-American community know that no one has the power to tell you that you are inferior. Her voice is effortless! I am really excited for more to come from this new artist.
Emily Metcalfe – Ed Sheeran – Wayfaring Stranger

This is one of my favorite Ed Sheeran covers. As much as I love seeing him become more successful, I sincerely hope the radio never finds this. This cover is way too beautiful to be played every other minute between the latest Pitbull train wreck.
Billy Dries – Jamie xx – “Sleep Sound”
The first cut off of his double A-side “Girl”/”Sleep Sound” got its official release this past week, and Jamie Smith is not straying far from his distinctly ambient style. Harp samples, and a liquid beat carry you through six minutes of bliss. Check out the official music video below, it proves that this song is so good that even the deaf can hear it.
