Waka Flocka Flame & Riff Raff
10/28/14
Baltimore Soundstage
Last Tuesday, Waka Flocka Flame and Riff Raff joined together to give one heck of a show for Baltimore. The concert was at the Baltimore Soundstage which was chock full of diverse fans and raging front rowers’. Coming into the show I was immensely skeptical of the show due the somewhat poor lyrical quality of the two artists. That being said, I could have never been more wrong in my life.
Riff Raff opened up with his hit song Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz off his second studio album Neon Icon. Riff Raff did a fantastic job involving the crowd very well accompanied by his entourage on stage. Finally, Iceberg Simpson (Riff Raff) ended his set with a couple of champagne bottles sprayed entirely over the first couple of rows of fans. Then came the headliner, Waka. He ran out with his entourage in such a fast manner it was somewhat startling. Waka did a fantastic job and completely killed the show. Amid the numerous fan girls storming the stage he kept a fantastic composure. Personally, I enjoyed Bustin At Em’ the most simply because of the song itself and the impressive head banging of Waka’s dreads. Also Waka followed in Riff Raff’s footsteps and completely drenched the fans with more than four bottles of champagne. Overall, the show was completely worth the ticket and both artists controlled the crowd very well. So next time the two come through your local venue definitely purchase a ticket and enjoy their live talent.
