Highly Suspect’s album, released in November of 2016 brings back signature 90s grunge rock vibes, with some bluesy bar-room charm. “Viper strike” is an energetic song driven by heavy distortions while “Little One” is a more toned down reflection on a past relationships. The album is great for getting the adrenaline going but also to sit back and listen to the reflective lyrics.

Glass Animals released their second album, How to Be a Human Being in August of 2016. They stayed true to their sweet smooth indie-electric sound while drawing upon the nostalgia of 1970s funk. Each song tells its own story and the reality of humanity. “Pork Soda” has a fun “trip hop” beat while ‘s smooth vocals and the flute create a transcendentalist element to “Mama’s Gun.” This album is great whether you want to just chill out or to go out.
