Over the summer many changes were made to the dining areas throughout the Evergreen campus. Newman Towers offers a second Il Piatto location to satiate your desire for delicious Italian cuisine, as well as the newly improved Newman Market. Opening Friday, September 3, the new Newman Market will be an upscale convenience store providing not only made-to-order foods but grocery items and cosmetics as well. From 12 gelato flavors prepared fresh daily to delicious crepes this market will be just what you are looking for.

The Student Center saw new developments with the addition of Mein Bowl, Starbucks, and Red Mango frozen yogurt. Mein Bowl offers fresh, authentic Asian cuisine with a quick-service style that will have guests on their way fast! The menu offers great variety that spans genres from traditional “Chinese Takeout” favorites like fried rice, egg rolls, and General Tso’s, but also explores Korean, Mongolian and Thai cuisine, as well as vegetarian options. Starbucks Cafe is a world favorite and will be available to you right on campus! This will be a full-service Starbucks offering beverages, bakery, and non-food items such as travel mugs. Yes, we will be accepting Starbucks gift cards!
Red Mango is a very popular and the fastest-growing retailer of authentic nonfat frozen yogurt. Red Mango combines its refreshingly tangy frozen yogurt with fresh and exciting toppings to create a nutritious dessert that can be enjoyed all day. Red Mango also offers smoothies and parfaits.

WLOY will be present at the grand openings of all these locations to compliment the exciting atmosphere with everyone’s favorite Rock N’ Roll tunes.
We hope to see you there to enjoy all of the newly improved dining options as well as our wonderful music!
