Museum Monday: The Walters Art Museum

Walter Wick ExhibitMondays can be hard, so what could be better than retreating to our younger days when the biggest challenge was finishing the current page of I Spy or Can You See What I See? And at the Walter Wick: Games, Gizmos, and Toys in the Attic exhibit at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, you can do just that!

The exhibit is the first ever for Walter Wick, the author and illustrator of those beloved puzzle and illusion books, and will feature several life-size handcrafted models, enlarged and early photographs, and not mention a sneak peek of Wick’s newest book Treasure Ship along with old favorites.

Here, you can get inside the enigmatic mind of Wick and maybe get a bit of your own creativity sparked. But don’t wait too long! This exhibit will only be around until January 2, 2010.

The Walters Art Museum is located at:
600 North Charles Street
Baltimore, MD

Tickets are available online or at the door:
$10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $6 for students and young adults, and free for children under the age of 18.
