After they receive their points from the celebs, it will be the audience’s job to decide who should be jumping around the sidelines of M & T Bank Stadium.

Food Friday: Tir Na Nog

We all know that after our time at Loyola comes the real world. And sometimes, the real world isn’t easy. On March 24 the Young Executives for Success (Y.E.S!) will be hosting their Brackets & Beer event down in the harbor at the delicious Tir Na Nog in order to support Dress for Success Philadelphia!. DFSP! is a nonprofit organization that works to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing career development tips, professional attire, and networking opportunities for those looking to make a difference in their lives. So come on down and enjoy some refreshments, trivia games, and beer tastings for a good cause.

The Flashbulb – Love As A Dark Hallway

Benn Jordan, as communicated over his last three albums especially, is a bit of an eccentric, an extremist of the electronic genre as I know it. Look at his past few albums. Kirlian Selections wasn’t just diverse, it was a breathtaking medley of styles and influences. Soundtrack To A Vacant Life wasn’t merely interesting, it was enthralling, captivating; and Arboreal wasn’t simply active, it was teeming with energy. Excuse the obvious hyperbole, but The Flashbulb, Jordan’s artistic moniker, calls for it.

Theater Thursday: Cabaret at Germano’s Trattoria

A great way to check out some of Baltimore’s thriving culture is to stop by the Cabaret at Germano’s Trattoria. Since May of 2008 Germano’s has hosted countless local acts, as well as performers from all over, interested in adding to the flavor of Charm City. Theater, jazz, classical, opera…the Cabaret has it all. The greatest aspect; however, is the informal, yet intimate environment created by the performers. Guests can enjoy amazing Tuscan food before or during the performance, and can grab a drink with the performers after the show.
