A new song by Austin, Texas band Pure X is so dreamy and surfy that you’d never believe that those kids grew up hundreds of miles from the closest beach. The WLOY staff went out to brunch on Sunday, and if you ask anyone on staff I think we can all agree how great this meal was. Whether for brunch or for dinner, you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. From the atmosphere of the restaurant to the food, it is perfection. Some of our favorites were the French Toast Dippers, the Amish Pretzels and the Croque Madame. Brunch may just be the most important meal of the day!

Released December 10, Donald Glover changed the whole entire game with his sophomore release. Shying away from the traditional sense of album development, he relied solely on the internet to create a buzz and the eventual explosion of excitement for his album. “Because The Internet” has aspects of traditional hip-hop, but he branches out by including his skills as a writer to give each song it’s own personality. So, as a fan of the arts in general, I feel that Glover changed the way albums should be created and everyone, I mean EVERYONE should go out and listen to this fine piece of aural cinema.
