Who is the Best of the Best?

Sports SaturdayFor the first time since 1970, 5 NFL teams will be undefeated entering week 7. The Bengals, Broncos, Packers, Panthers, and Patriots are the lone remaining teams without a loss and all 5 of them have a legitimate chance of raising the Lombardi Trophy come February.

We know what Andy Dalton and company can do during the regular season, but the real question for the Bengals is, can they get the job done during the post-season? Dalton has made the playoffs in each of his first 4 years in the league however, he is 0-4 in the post-season. This is a different Bengals team. They are incredibly balanced on offense with a thunder and lightning rushing attack with Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard, as well as a prolific passing attack featuring A.J Green. With the exception of the Ravens game, Green has been relatively quiet so far this season. It is the emergence of guys like Tyler Eifert and Marvin Jones that have really added another dimension to this offense. Eifert specifically has been extremely effective in the red zone hauling in 6 touchdowns leading all tight ends. This Bengals team certainly has the weapons to keep up with the elite teams in the AFC.

Food Friday: Artifact Coffee

Artifact 2 What: Artifact Coffee

Where: 1500 Union Avenue, Baltimore

When: Monday-Tuesday 7am-5pm, Wednesday-Friday 7am-7pm, Saturday-Sunday 8am-7pm

The other day I woke up early and headed on over to Artifact Coffee before class. I am in love. In love with the atmosphere the food and the deliciously soothing tea that helped cure a sore throat! I sat down at a rustic table while the waiter brought me a carafe of water and placed down my lemon-green tea infuser with a cute blue tea cup and plate. I then scarfed down a breakfast sandwich, amazing, it was crunchy yet soft yet cheesy, ugh, everything you want in a sausage breakfast sandwich.

2015-16 Loyola Basketball Season Preview

Sports Saturday The college basketball season is right around the corner and if there is going to be a year in which Loyola basketball wins the Patriot League, the 2015-16 season is definitely that year. This team has a perfect mixture of veteran leadership and young talent.

The Greyhounds have four seniors on the team and they are all expected to play pivotal roles this year. Loyola gets big man Jarred Jones back after playing in only two games last year due to injury. The men in green also return Franz Rassman who started every game last season, Eric Laster who was the team MVP last year, and Tyler Hubbard who is the only member of the team who was on the 2012 team that won the MAAC championship.
