When craving a mid-week and off-campus sweet treat, The Charmery is my go-to. The Charmery prides itself on having “super-premium, highly original, and insanely delicious” ice cream, and I couldn’t have phrased it better myself. The owners, David and Laura, strive to bring together local and global communities to achieve happiness via their scrumptious ice cream. This shop supports local farmers and producers whenever possible and loves to collaborate with the local Baltimore community (including artists, musicians, and community figures). It is evident The Charmery approaches everything with skill, precision, and care while connecting with its customers and fostering positivity and happiness.
Pre-packed pints and ice cream pies are available at each store, and you can also order online and skip the line at the stores to pick them up. The birthday cake pie is one of my favorites, it features a graham cracker crust and birthday cake ice cream topped with hot fudge, fresh whipped cream & colorful sprinkles. They change up their flavors, but some of the flavors that are always available include Maryland mud, mint mountain, and malty vanilla chip (which is my personal favorite). The other flavors rotate seasonally, and you never know what fun flavor to expect. If you are throwing an event of 50 or more people, The Charmery can offer you an exclusive ice cream social package! And if your event does not reach the minimum of 50 people you can purchase a Sundae To-Go-Go package (just email party@thecharmery.com).
