This past Tuesday Tim Tilghman, host of the weekly Radio RockOnTour show (Tuesdays noon-2pm) was able to score a few minutes of time with singer, songwriter, guitarist, pianist and more Livingston Taylor, who celebrating 52 years in the music business this year. He maintains a performance schedule of more than a hundred shows a year, delighting audiences with his unique brand of popular music which includes mostly original repertory from his thirteen albums. In addition to his performance schedule, Livingston is a full professor at Berklee College of Music, passing on the extensive knowledge gained from his long career on the road to the next generation of musicians. We caught up with him just after he finished teaching for the day at Berklee and chatted about his love of everything from Billy Joel to his TV show and a few of his interesting students (John Mayer, Charlie Puth, and more).
