Theater Thursday: Fells Point Corner Theatre

There’s nothing quite like an intimate community theater to break us away from the big screen and bring us back to live performance. At Fells Point Corner Theatre, that’s precisely what you’ll get.

Right now you can catch Fool For Love, a modern day love triangle. Featuring a mysterious cowboy drifter, an old lover, and another man vying for her attention, a war of words rather than gun finds itself played out onstage.

If Fool For Love strikes your fancy, be sure to check it out this weekend. It closes this Sunday, October 17th.

Wacky Wednesday: The Great Halloween Lantern Parade and Festival

Illuminated vegetables, 10-foot tall farmers, and dancing ladybugs… it’s only appropriate this is the first line of Wacky Wednesday, isn’t it? And you’ll find such creatures only at the Great Halloween Lantern Parade and Festival.

On Saturday, October 30th, from 3 to 9 PM head over to Patterson Park to see stilt walkers, huge floats, and 1,000 lanterns from members of the community and the world’s only giant, glowing vegetable garden in honor of this years theme – GROW!

Museum Monday: National Museum of Dentistry

The average woman smiles 62 times per day. Everyone has a unique tongue print. 14 gallons of toothpaste are used every year in the United States. And, it’s no surprise that 50% of people say a smile is the first thing they notice. No better way to kick off the week than learning a little about your pearly whites, huh?

And it doesn’t have to stop here! You can find out even more at the National Museum of Dentistry here in Baltimore.
