Sports Saturday: Lacrosse Museum & Hall of Fame

With the football season underway and the baseball season wrapping up, why don’t you throw another sport in the mix and brush up on your knowledge of Lacrosse? That’s right! Baltimore is home to the Lacrosse Museum & Hall of Fame.

Did you know the sport has Native American origins? Did you know the museum is located right near Johns Hopkins? That’s only an inch of what you’ll discover when you visit.

Filled with rare photographs, trophies, memorabilia and vintage equipment and uniforms, you can view the greatest lacrosse players and study their accomplishments through interactive computer exhibits. With the multimedia show, “Lacrosse: The Spirit Lives,” and the documentary, “More than a Game: A History of Lacrosse,” it’s the perfect place for any sports fan to spend a Saturday… not to mention the goodies you’ll find in the gift shop.

The Lacrosse Museum & Hall of Fame is located at:
113 W. University Parkway
Baltimore, MD 21210

Ticket prices are: $3 for ages 16 and up, $2 for ages 5 – 15, and free for any children under 5 (as well as all US Lacrosse Members with their membership card). Discounted rates for groups are also available.
