Where: Off of St. Paul Street

With all of this perfect weather it is hard not to think of pretty tulips and bright red roses. Luckily there is the Sherwood Gardens to take all of these magical images and make them come alive. So when in Baltimore in the spring this could not be a better place to visit.
For all of you Loyola students it very convenient to get to, and for the tourist it would be an excellent stop along all of your Charm City travels.

The space was originally a pond and a lake but then those were filled in when they began the creation of the Sherwood Gardens. It began as a hobby for John Sherwood in the 1920s but then turned into something much bigger and beautiful. The tulips were imported from the Netherlands, these have become some of the most popular tulips in North America.
