Set in the United States during the Vietnam War, the film follows the journeys of four characters – Jude, Lucy, Max and Prudence – while they all come to terms with the events of this tumultuous time. Some go off to war, some get involved with political activists, others join cults – and all of this occurs while performing thirty-four Beatles’ songs.
